When we immigrated in 2019 we came with a 1 and a 2-year-old a few months before Christmas.  We gifted most of their toys before we moved so they really didn’t have much.  Now add the parent guilt of their first Christmas just the 4 of us and I managed to go a little overboard.  On top of that, due to our great communication skills, hubby went off on his own boy-dad shopping spree and he came back with even more gifts, and I knew what a huge wrapping task was ahead. 

He offered to help - YAY! Husband, but asked to cut several tape strips ready to speed up to process.  Teamwork, Let’s go!  So, there I was being the tape dispenser, individually cutting strips of tape and sticking it on the side of our table.  Not even the sounds of “Bublé” could make that task less tedious!   With every strip, the thought grew stronger that this will be me every Christmas, Birthday, Father’s Day -

Surely there must be an easier way, so I hit Google and found nothing.  How can there be NO great solution for this when so many people wrap gifts every year?  I knew I had to create it, for my own sanity.  So here it is.  TAPE ZOOMIE, a patent progressing product that I hope will make the tedious task of gift wrapping a little bit less dull.
